The thrilling 11-inning matchup where the Los Angeles Dodgers overcome the Toronto Blue Jays by one run attracted a combined over 50 million viewers in the US, Canadian, and Japan markets. In the Japanese market, where the deciding game started at 9 PM in the local time zone, it averaged 12 million. This followed last Friday’s sixth game – where Fall Classic Most Valuable Player Yamamoto gave up a single run in six frames – recorded over 13 million spectators, making it the highest-rated Fall Classic matchup on a sole broadcaster in the country.
